CoQ10 as an ingredient is an important contributor to the dietary supplement industry. Education is obviously the key determinant for success of the dietary supplement industry and more specifically CoQ10 as an ingredient. To facilitate the responsible transparency of ingredient manufacturing and education of the benefits of CoQ10, the CoQ10 Association has been founded.
The CoQ10 Association is a distinguished 501c(6) non-profit organization headquartered in Spring, TX. Our mission is to champion transparency, education, and collaboration within the CoQ10 industry. Over the past two decades, the Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) industry has met challenges, including concerns regarding ingredient manufacturer transparency, conflicting study results, supply shortages, legal disputes, and changes in manufacturing leadership. Despite these hurdles, discussions about transparency in CoQ10 ingredient production and supply have remained limited, specifically outside of purchasing departments. It has become evident that there is a pressing need for enhanced transparency and education about CoQ10 throughout the distribution chain.
Despite these challenges, the demand for CoQ10 has remained strong, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) exceeding 20% over the past few decades. While North America continues to represent a significant portion of global CoQ10 demand, emerging markets such as Japan, China, and Brazil are rapidly recognizing the benefits of this antioxidant nutrient. The global retail value of CoQ10 has exceeded $1 billion USD, highlighting its reputation as a health-changing supplement, particularly for cardiovascular patients. Moving forward, the CoQ10 Association remains committed to fostering transparency, promoting education, and facilitating collaboration within the industry. We believe that proactive and purposeful efforts, such as testing CoQ10 products, will not only benefit industry stakeholders but also empower consumers to make informed decisions about their health.
Thank you for your attention, support, and commitment to advancing the CoQ10 industry. Together, we can drive positive change and promote the widespread adoption of CoQ10 for improved health outcomes.
